Sheriff Michael Bouchard
Sheriff Michael Bouchard runs one of the nation’s largest Sheriff’s Offices, overseeing 1,100 employees and managing an annual budget of over $120 million dollars. Sheriff Bouchard has 22 years of law enforcement experience and 22 years as an elected official. On January 11, 1999, Michigan Senator and Majority Floor Leader Michael Bouchard accepted the appointment as successor to John F. Nichols who passed away suddenly. In November of 2004, Sheriff Bouchard was returned to Office with the largest number of votes for any contested candidate in Oakland County. His current term will expire on January 1, 2013.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy
On January 6, 2004, in Detroit, Michigan, Kym Loren Worthy was sworn in as the chief law enforcement officer of Wayne County. Worthy is the first African-American, and the first woman, to serve as Wayne County Prosecutor. The 63-member bench of the Wayne County Circuit Court appointed Worthy to the position. In November 2004, she ran unopposed for re-election. Worthy earned her undergraduate degree in economics and political science from the University of Michigan and her law degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Carrie Lynn Fuca
Carrie Lynn Fuca is a Macomb County, Michigan-based attorney who is running in 2010 for 41B District Court Judge. She holds a law degree from Wayne State University. She clerked for Judge Michael D. Schwartz and has represented clients through the Free Legal Aid Clinic, the Wayne County Prosecutors Office Child Family and Abuse Division, and eventually went into private practice in the area of personal injury law.
Judge Brian MacKenzie
Judge Brian MacKenzie is Chief Judge Pro Tem for the four divisions of the 52nd District Court in Novi, Michigan as well as being the Presiding Judge of the 1st Division. In 2001, he was honored by the Foundation for the Improvement of Justice with its annual award for significant contributions to the American criminal justice system. He has also received several other awards for his domestic violence and drunk driving prevention programs. In addition to these award-winning programs, he started a program designed to reduce adolescent alcohol and tobacco use. He planned the 52-1 District Court’s new Sobriety Court. He inaugurated the first Judicial Town Hall meetings in the State of Michigan. In 2000, Judge MacKenzie was appointed by The Michigan Supreme Court as coordinating judge for a pilot project involving community outreach and trial court performance standards. Judge MacKenzie has a law degree from Wayne State University.
